2025 is going to be a big year for Red Hulk. The Red Goliath will make his first big-screen appearance in the MCU and the comics again!
The Red Goliath will make his first big-screen appearance in Captain America: Brave New World, smashing his way into the highly anticipated film. I am one of many fans looking forward to the movie, but this isn’t the only way to see him again.
In 2025, ONE WORLD UNDER DOOM will take over the Marvel Comic Universe this February! But first, what’s going on in the MCU?
Landing in The MCU
From what we have seen in the trailers, President Ross, played by Harrison Ford, is trying to initiate the Captain America program to be an official US Government position once more. We see the disposition between Sam and Ross from their history together post-Civil War (2016).
Ross seems like a pawn in the movie’s grand scheme. The Leader, played by Tim Blake Nelson, will try to distract the new Captain America from the main objective. The leader and Ross most likely worked together to get Ross to become the Red Hulk in the first place.
Even though Red Hulk is making his big debut on the big screen, he’s also making a big comeback in the main continuity of the Marvel Comics Universe in Red Hulk #1 (2025).
Red Hulk #1 Expectations
Comic book author Benjamin Percy is writing the New Red Hulk comic. He is known for his recent X-Force comic run and Ghost Rider Vol. 1: Unchained. He’s teaming up with Geoff Shaw, the Artist and Cover Artist.
Benjamin Percy plans for Doctor Doom to attempt a global takeover because he believes his rule will fit everyone. However, we will see that some people don’t agree with him, including General Thadeous Ross, aka The Red Hulk.
The story starts with General Ross being kidnapped by Doctor Doom, who forces Ross into prison. The plot moves quickly, and there is a lot of tension between Red Hulk and Doctor Doom. The comic will be coming out on February 26th, 2025.
Will Red Hulk Appear In Another Comic?
The next comic he will appear in is THE INCREDIBLE HULK #19, which will be releasing on November 27th, 2024. In it, Ross will operate a dangerous covert mission for the sake of National Security, ultimately crossing over with the current version of The Incredible Hulk.
